{"id":2650,"date":"2024-05-19T15:08:38","date_gmt":"2024-05-19T22:08:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/todayna.org\/todaynawp\/?page_id=2650"},"modified":"2026-04-07T11:28:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T18:28:20","slug":"hospitals-and-institutions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/todayna.org\/todaynawp\/hospitals-and-institutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Hospitals and Institutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Addicts who are institutionalized and unable to attend meetings often have their first experience with Narcotics Anonymous thanks to a panel from Hospitals and Institutions.<br \/>\nRecovering addicts carry the message into residential drug treatment centers, jails, mental institutions, and other facilities.<br \/>\nHaving an opportunity to bring the gift of hope to an addict who is suffering, and is unable to go out to meeting is an amazing experience.<\/p>\n<p>Current Los Angeles County Sheriffs Clearance holders:<br \/>\nIf you already have a clearance, there are 2 biennial tasks that must be performed, by you, to maintain it.<br \/>\nPlease complete these tasks in the following order:<br \/>\n1. You must complete the orientation video online biennially (<a href=\"https:\/\/lasd-s-rvs-7aa2.thinkific.com\/courses\/SecurityClearanceClass\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">click<\/span><\/em><\/a>)<br \/>\nAfter completing task 1 then proceed to task 2;<br \/>\n2.
